How Authyr works

From a real visit to a review anyone can check. On one page.

Authyr exists to put business owners back in control of their own reputation, at a time when fake reviews, bots and fake accounts make everyone else's platforms harder to trust.

  • SHA-256 fingerprinted
  • Signed
  • Anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain every hour
  • Patent pending

What that means: change one word of a review, and it can't be proven to be the real review anymore. That goes for everyone, including us.

No email needed. Send it from your own phone to anyone who's tired of paying for “removal”.

The process

Six steps, start to finish.

  1. 01

    A visit is recorded

A scan at your counter, a booking, or a payment through Square.

  2. 02

    We ask while they’re there

On their own phone, in the browser. No app.

  3. 03

    They write it once

One per phone, after bot and rate checks. Everyone gets the same ask.

  4. 04

    Sealed that second

SHA-256 fingerprinted and signed. Change one word and it can’t be proven to be the real review.

  5. 05

    Anchored every hour

To the Bitcoin blockchain, outside our control. Even we can’t rewrite yesterday.

  6. 06

    It lives on your site

Yours, checkable by anyone, and one tap to post the same words on Google or Yelp.

See it for yourself

Change one word. It’s no longer provably real.

Every review gets a digital fingerprint (SHA-256) the moment it's written. It's signed, and every hour anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain. Nothing to install and no cryptocurrency involved: it simply makes the record impossible to change quietly, by anyone, including us.

What a signal is

Four ways a visit gets recorded.

A signal is one independent piece of evidence that a visit happened, recorded at that moment by a system the business can't edit afterwards. Every review shows its signals. This is our patent-pending multi-signal verification.

Counter scan

The customer scanned the code on your stand with their own phone.

Shows they were at the stand at that time. On its own it doesn’t show a purchase.

Phone on site

With the customer’s permission, their phone was within a few hundred metres of the business.

Only the distance is kept, never the location. It comes from the same phone as the scan, so the two count as one.

Booking

An appointment booked through the business’s booking link.

Shows an appointment was made and kept on the calendar.

Payment

A completed card payment reported by Square, in a signed message straight from Square.

The strongest single signal. The payment reference can be confirmed with Square.

✓ VerifiedVerified means the visit is backed by a payment, or by two signals from separate systems, like a counter scan and a booking. A review with one signal is still tied to a recorded visit and signed; it just isn't labelled Verified.

What sets us apart

Proof instead of promises.

Not removal

Removal companies have one move: report the review and wait. We built that into a free tool, and we tell you when a review will stay.

Mediation built in

A bad review reaches you first, with up to 30 days to make it right. Messages are capped, the customer decides, the fix shows on the record.

Evidence for chargebacks

Every visit tied to a card payment comes with a one-page packet: the payment, their own review, the signature, the timestamp.

Nobody can rig it

We never write, buy, remove or filter reviews, including for the businesses paying us. That’s why the good ones are believed.

Yes, we're a startup

That's why every answer is in writing.

The full guide covers the whole process, what keeps fakes out, mediation, the evidence packet, what we refuse to do, who's behind it, and nineteen questions owners ask, with a plain-English glossary. About eight minutes. No email needed.
